right, just thought to share my experince of living with an American.

ye ruz be housemate'am goftam ke "right i am going out to have a fag" and she was like "but dont u think u should do that in your bedroom?" and i had no fucking idea what she was on about... I was like "no in England, u cant smoke in your room, its in our culture and is a kind of respect for other people in the house"...she had no idea what i was on about either...after half an hour of confusion we suddenly realised this is due to the crappy American English she speaks...no offense but come off it, if it's English then cant be American, can it now?

anyone else has had the same kind of problem before?
