Moratti: "The strength of tranquillity"

MILAN - Massimo Moratti spoke briefly to Sky Sport Italia on his arrival at the Saras offices this morning.

This is what he had to say:

Moratti, do you agree that last night's performance at the Olimpico was Inter's best so far under Mourinho?

"Yes, certainly. They did very well and you can see the evolution of the team's game, just like Mourinho explained to me the first time I saw him. It's wonderful to see certain efforts pay off. It's nice both for him and for us."

The players gave the impression that they enjoy playing together...

"Yes, but it's like this when you win. But I had the feeling that they had a certain tranquillity. Then the goals came and this made everything else easier."

Were you expecting Roma to be so disarming?

"If I'm not wrong, the disarming was mostly due to Inter's game. Both teams did well in the first half. They are still a very strong team."

When you look at the Inter of last night, you ask yourself who can stop them. Perhaps Inter are their only opponent, as Cristian Chivu said the other day...
