Many of PersianHub rips that i've seen are WMV8
There surely are players that do play wmv8 wmv9 or X format
but then you would have to buy that player to see these
Like i said many new Home theater setups do not play wmv8
but WMV9
so having the files under wmv9 would leave us from converting ourselves which from last i did took 6 hours for 1 30/40 minute file
