Ancelotti wants to take Milan stars to the Bridge
Ancelotti wants to take Milan stars to the Bridge
![]() New Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he would love to take some of his Milan stars to Stamford Bridge. After months of speculation, Ancelotti left the San Siro on Sunday and Chelsea confirmed shortly afterwards that the Italian has been handed a three-year contract at the club. And, with The Blues having previously been linked with moves for Kaka and Andrea Pirlo, Ancelotti has fuelled speculation he could attempt to raid his former club. “I would happily take many players from Milan with me as I have an extraordinary relationship with them,” he told Radio Rai. When asked if he could make a move for midfielder Gennaro Gattuso, though, he said: “He is a symbol of the club and it is right that he stays.” Kaka, meanwhile, spoke of his admiration for Ancelotti after he left Milan. “Ancelotti is someone I am very close to after these six years together at Milan,” he said. “I am grateful for all he has done for me and all the lessons I learned. “He gave me the opportunity to be known as a player on the world stage and I won so much with his guidance. I wish him all the best for everything.” However, the Brazil star has played down reports he is set to leave the club. The 27-year-old was quoted as saying he was unsure about his future last week, but he claims he was misquoted. “I didn't say that I don't know whether I'll stay or go,” he said. “I didn't say that. “I said I won't speak about the transfer market anymore.” New Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed he wants to sign Kaka this summer.
