I just noticed, after changing your modem, your speed is Faster, and I quote "14X faster than 56K 1MB download in 10.89 sec". So what seems to be the problem, oh yes, it should be 30x faster shouldn't it, well if there really is a noticeable problem, try contacting your modem manufacturer. Maybe you've set up incorrect Drivers?

I see you use AOL as your ISP!? AOL has very strict guidelines on Hardware, as far as I am aware, they prefer you use and buy the Internet Hardware that they themselves sell. If you are using a fully compatible modem/router, and there is still a problem, try contacting AOL again, I've heard they have a pretty impressive customer support base.

Alternatively, use PCPITSTOP.com, this will present you with a consise diagnosis of your system, and recommend ways to resolve issues you may have.

Sorry I couldn't have been a better help, I'm not that familiar with AOL's service, but they are one of the biggest ISP', if not the biggest in the world, so they should be approachable in terms of customer support.
