Go to Control Panel
switch to classic view double click on system go to Advanced Tab Under Performance, Select Settings Under Visual Effects Tab Threre is option called "Smooth edges of screen fonts" if its already selected, unselect it or vice versa, Apply and then press OK and see if your font is now normal, you can also select "Adjast for best Performance" Note: Guyz, I understand you have got plently of sense of humor but use it else where than general computer discussions

if it's an LCD monitor 17" or higher:
1. resolusion is too high 2. outer tube of the monitor is defective. where i work, i've seen monitors like that; my friend's monitor is like that too... she has a 19" Samsung LCD... if you can return your monitor, do it! get another model ![]() P.S. if you bought it from Future Shop and it's a Samsung, it's the one! go return or if you got a PSP (Product Service Plan) use that
