To me, its not a very bright idea to go on a 3 years contract. You can buy the phone separately.

There are cooler LG phones than the LG Chocolate, check this out:

but I already have a contract with this company

and I can choose only from the phones that they offer ( no other phone not even the unlocked ones)

in that case, then you should go for it.
