Download the updated drivers from realtek's site

Realtek AC97 audio driver package 4.04 download
Sound Driver ro Install kardi check it out

If your case has Mic-In and Headphones-Out ports on the front panel, ensure they are correctly connected to your mobo. If your case doesn't, then you need to make sure to jumper the Speaker Out L/R and Speaker Out L/R Return pins (these pins position can vary by mobo, so check your manual), otherwise the sound card can't create a proper circuit.

Let me know if that fixes the problem.
