NO NEVER

darkness in persian poetry is all about sadness and misery .
unless you come up with some sort of an explaination or metaphor at the end to change to whole thing .

now it is even more beautiful! Your explanation fits very well:

کمر باریک من
شام تاریک من
بیا به نزدیک من
صلح و صفا کن، جفا دیگر بسه

dobare komak,

الهی ماند این دل خانه ی تو،
تو بلبل باشی و دل واله ی تو، کمر باریک

please correct me if i think wrong,

wordby word translation gives me this:

oh God, stay this house of your heart,
you be a nightingale, and your heart that I love

so the meaning should be:

Oh God, you please stay
you that I love, be happy

if this is correct it is a big step for me in understanding farsi

am I thinking correctly?

pishaapish moteshakker!
