can cholofteh be used in other ways?

Hi
La Elah a Ella Allah:

La:No
Elah:God
Ella:Except
Allah:God(Allah is the term Muslims use for their God)

SO:There is no God except Allah

But this has become popular in Farsi and most of the times those who use this, don't mean the exact definition.
Sometimes they use it when they feel frustrated.
Imagine u r explaining sth to someone and he/she insists on his/her point regardless of your explanation then u become upset and say La elah ....

They also use this phrase when carrying dead bodies.

hey buddy, it's very good to learn this part of persian language (kooche bazari, challe meydooni, metaphors ...)
but I think for you who wants to learn and understand using persian poems, you should go more forward
instead of listening to songs of Siavash Shams or other LA singers with the same level of lyrics, you should go after something more sensibly
in persian poems usually metaphors and this makes understanding the poem a bit difficult
we have poets like Iraj Jannati Atei, Ardalan Sarfaraz
the language of their poems isn't so difficult to understand
when you've understood their poems, you surely do understand words like bala, delbar and so on
a bit older singers like Dariush, Googoosh, ... have songs written by the poets I named you
espacially their old love songs could help you

last but not at least you should know this: mokhlesam

thanks for your answer yasserbahale. My ultimate goal is to be able to read books in farsi and papers in farsi. My farsi is ok, i have no problem talking with iranians, but when the discussion becomes more complex i dont understand anything i.e. i dont know the "big words", also I have problems with nuances. So my idea is just to learn words. Also my favourite part of farsi is the poethic bit, it is something that does not exist in Swedish or English so it is natural that I ask many question about these words in these songs. I know the level might be low, but I'm a beginner. After a while of learning iranian songs hopefully i will go to poems written by ferdoosi, sadi and haafez. I find many of their poems extremely beautiful but at the moment they are too difficult.
