I need your help!

salam @ hame!

A friend asked me to block a few internet sites on his notebook (which runs with windows vista).
So I tried to do it by blocking the hosts of the sites:

I opened the hosts with the Editor under: windows/system32/drivers/etc.
then I tipped in the sites I wanted to block under the already given examples (with the right numbers of spaces and all):

127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost
127.0.0.1 www.livejournal.com

But when I wanted to save the new written hosts I wasn't allowed to do it and I had to get the rights from the Administrator.
So I found cmd.exe and ran it as the administrator by a right klick.
Then I activated the administrator: net user Administrator /active

but when I tried to save the hosts again it didn't work

okay man in karo kardam:

right klick on hosts >properties. then I selected that I am allowed to edit the hosts.
then I could save it. vali hala site ha ba in hame baz mishan ...?! although I tipped the three links for e.g. LIvejournal...I still can open the inet site I wanted to block...:/

should I delete these examples (see below) before I tipp the sites I want to block?

127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost

p.s.: Net user administrator /active:yes worked this time too. but Net user administrator /active works aswell. so doesn't really matter which one I use.
