تک درختی تیره بختم
که در سکوت صحرا فریاد من
شکسته در گلویم
تک درختی بی پناهم
که دشت آرزوها گردید آخر
مزار آرزویم
خشک و بی بارم پس ثمرم کو
آن شادابی آن برگ و برم کو
دور از یاران بی توشه و برگم
همخانه محنت همسایه مرگم
بر رخسارم غبار غم نشسته
طوفان از من چه شاخه ها شکسته
چو نهال زهر آلوده همه کس از من بگریزد
نه کسی با من بنشیند نه کسی با من آمیزد
گویم غم خود را با خار بیابان
در سینه نهفتم اسرار بیابان
در دل شب سکوت صحرا بود غم افزا آه
از تو جدا بگویم ای مه حدیث خود با ماه
