Hello, all,

there is a need for some help about installing Persian language to a mobile. The mobile is Nokia N72 and it has Arabic script installed on it.

Just some explanation to describe the problem better. In order to have a better option for communication with a Persian-speaking friend, I asked some good people whom I know and who were going to have a trip to Iran, to buy a local mobile. Since I had good opinion about Nokia N72, I asked them to obtain there for me this one.

But(!!!) there was no Persian layout at all! Only Arabic (the Nokia seems to have been brought from Emirates). Among the languages there were several European languages (I tried whether a layout had been overwritten with Farsi, no) and Arabic. In incoming Farsi SMSes "g", "p", "ch" are written properly, but instead of "zh" there is abstract square, so some Persian symbols (at least, one) cannot be written there. The friend from Iran wrote that they have a mobile with Arabic keyboard, but Persian software.

Thus, I can conclude that there may be some ".ttf"s or something else of this kind, some software to persianize the mobile (for example, if I overwrite one of the existing layouts). If such software exists, please, could anyone who knows give me some link (I didn't find anything on Google) to that. You would help me immensely! Thank you in advance!

آیا کسی میداند از کجا بتوانم برنامۀ مبایل را داشته باشم که آن را برای مبالم بدهم و که با آن نامه های کوچک را بنویسم؟
تا الآن نمیتوانم آن را پیدا کنم. در صفحۀ نوکیا برنامۀ فارسی نیست
الآن مبایلم حروف عربی دارد, فارسی (چ, ژ, گ, پ) ندارد
