I have looked at this thousand times, and i am still amazed man , would love to travel there once, but all these people on persianhub who live in dubai do not give me good vibe to go there for some reason!

It depends on where you are living. like if you are intrested in summer, beach, clubbing, shopping ,etc then it's a good place to visit. (Not to live BTW)

I would say i am interested in summer beach, not so much clubbing and very little shopping, more interested in seeing new places, new civbilization, places to see

Go ahead and visit the city, and never listen to those residents who are discouraging you. (they're all sick of the city cuz they're here since 1990s )

P.S: try to come in winter time, the weather is amazing then. now is just hot and humid. something like christmas is gr8.

I know, but it takes them at least 5 to 7 yrs to finish that. Also this is Not the final design, cuz they're trying to make it finantially benefical, and bring the costs down.
I hope they change it to something nicer, IMO it's too ugly to be the tallest skyscraper.
