well...as someone mentioned earlier it is not only the iranians that sing abt love! i mean yes they do it most of the time but think abt it..if they dont sing abt women then wat else do they sing abt cars or material possesions? i agree that there are too many songs abt women BUT another reason 4 that is the massive amount of iranian singers!! and the songs arent ment to give the wrong message they are usually there so that other people who r in love can use them! And the thing u mentioned abt men singing abt how they r willing to BUY anything the women wants just to get into her pants is soo not true..as in i have never noticed anything like it and another thing most Iranian guys arent even that faithfull! i mean we have the biggest population of players!loool

It's like their entire lives and happiness relies on women. If there is no woman, there is no reason for existence or life. I find it a little disturbing to be honest. I mean the melodies are great, but the lyrics can really depress you sometimes.

I 100% agree with you dear. The lyrics in these songs really sucks. It's just the melodies that might be attracting otherwise I'm sick of these bullshits of physical love expressed in each song the same way with just different words.
You may have heard the song " unwritten" by " Natasha bedingfield".My goodness, I;ve been listening to this song in my car every morning when I go to work for I don't know how many months. it just inspires me, gives me energy for the whole day:

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
No one else can let it in

It doesn't depress you, it doesn't give you the sense that life is all about - as you said- that lost love. Have you heard such a pure humane song in iranian pop music in the past 20 years ?
