The HangBoard� is the snow sport revolution! The HangBoard� (PATENTS PENDING CANADA, U.S. & FOREIGN) combines the three well established sports of snowboarding, hang gliding and mountain biking. With other snow sports, the rider's perspective is vertical. HangBoarding brings a horizontal perspective to the slopes. Absolutely nothing compares to the feeling of "flying" head first over the snow while suspended only a foot in the air!

The sensation is totally "immediate", the rider is low to the snow, and speed downslope feels MUCH faster than it actually is.

HangBoarding is easy to learn. Control comes from body weight shifting (like hang gliding) and foot operated rudders. When both rudders are applied at the same time, they function as powerful snow brakes. This dual function system makes HangBoarding easy to learn. New riders progress rapidly with the assurance of this unique rudder/brake system.

HangBoards are the perfect cross trainer for skiing and snowboarding. Each of these develop the lower part of the body, while HangBoarding develops the upper body. By adding HangBoarding to your winter sports regimen, you get more complete body conditioning.

HangBoards are lift friendly. Approaches to chair lifts are much the same as with snow boards, with one foot on the HangBoard� and the other foot pushing. Once sitting on the chair, the suspension boom of the HangBoard� rests diagonally on the user's legs. With no point loading, it is very comfortable. For safety, a tether insures the HangBoard� can't escape the lift. When departing the lift, the rider's balance is augmented by holding onto the HangBoard� upper frame. For gondolas, the HangBoard� rapidly folds up to a compact package.

HangBoards are safe because they are controllable. The HangBoard's exclusive rudder system provides instant directional control or braking. When these rudders are applied both at once, they make for a very quick stop.

HangBoards are strong. All components are engineered to a five times safety factor which means they are five times stronger than they have to be to support their design load. This gives you confidence when you are rocketing down the slopes.
