How can God be Most Gracious yet created Evil or allow Evil?

If God is indeed Most Merciful than there is nothing I can do for which he will not forgive me for.

What Evil do you mean?
What is the "Evil" your talking about?

Exactly!
But you are the one who chooses to benefit, or not.
So if you want/ask Then you will be forgiven...
If not, then thats what you choose and you will be punished. BUT we believe in the END when you have got what you "deserved" God will send you to heaven. (there are some exceptions though)

By the way: The last part isnt concluded using Logic, just the belief of some religions/Schools of thought...

Mate, its good to first know what someone/belief means to say, then comment on it.

1- What I meant was; The last part of my post (from "BUT we believe...") isnt -by itself- logical. As in, thats what we have been told by our religion.

But the fact that God forgives all, only if a person wants to be forgiven, is pretty obvious and rational dont you think?

2- You call this type of person -who kills innocent people- a "follower" of God, where as God says "himself" the punishment (the right of society and the victims family) for such a crime is death!

I wonder how you've added the two up !

. . . So by the looks of it, what you consider a criteria for categorizing people is just claims through the internet.

Just a heads up though:

If a George Bagabadandabad from Nigeria E-mailed you claiming he's a millionaire asking for your account number to transfer funds, just delete the email ... you wont regret it

Why argue about a phrase based on a non-existent being? It's just a tradition that has been carried out. Even if this god thing (whatever it might be) was there he'd be sick and tired of hearing it.
