روزنامه تایمز رضا را "شاهد زنده مدعای مهدی کروبی در مورد تجاوز سازمان یافته به بازداشت شدگان پسر و دختر برای خرد کردن اراده آنها" می خواند و می نویسد "رفتاری که با این پسر صورت گرفته نشان می دهد نظامی که خود را پرچمدار ارزش های اسلامی می داند حاضر است تا چه اندازه برای سرکوب کردن میلیون ها نفر از شهروندانش که مدعی تقلب در انتخابات هستند، پیش برود."

تایمز از زبان این فرد می نویسد در شب اول حضور در زندان سه نفر که با لباس شخصی در میان زندانیان بودند، او را "مقابل چشمان دیگر زندانیان" و در حالیکه "می گفتند این کار را برای خدا انجام می دهند" مورد تجاوز قرار دادند.

A person attitude towards the ideology which he or she follows does not represent the truth about that creed or religion, and this is correct is you want to judge a religion according to its followers. But if you study the religion, and then judge people who follow it, then you will find a complete different data, regarding that belief.
As an educated, enlightened, smart person, I would ask you this question in your answer; Have you read history? do you know that any religion that you could think of after the Demise of its messenger, has been put through a test of corruption and power lust? Do you remember the two main Dynasties in the early Islam, Umawid and abbasid dynasties? ( Bani Omayya, and Bani Abbas) were two main stream power seekers who turned Islam into a battle field of power lust, and the true line of Islam were ignored, assasinated, tortured, and fought with fierce enemity yet through cunning ways.
Sad story is that those Bani Omayya and abbasi dynasties are still at work. the only difference is that both are ruling at he same time. Peopleof black turbans, huge masjid ( mosques) many traditional gatherings, and buying an selling of names.......and the other hiding under the name of traditionalists ( ahle sunnah). Non can be called true Muslim. Since the actual teachings of Islam is being ignored and people are lined up behind a stolen and a rental turban who will at all cost sell religion for a penny, for that is his profession.
In the other hand if you are really interested in learning true Islam, whether you want to follwo it or just learn about it, I would sugegst you start your Quran, verse by verse, with a big Question mark in your mind, and back it up with teachings of Ahlel Bait. You will find a different world, than the one you know now. Islam does not tolerate any of the doings by any of these so called Islamic governments, actually Islam is not a governmental or institutional based system. Islam is based on a revolution which never ends, meaning, Islam is a path of life which follows the progress, in all fields of life which is important for a person on his or her journey in becoming a Human. ( A human a person who we all must become, but being enslaved by our inner desires and deviations mostly don't make it that far... A human is a complete image of that viceroy which God talks about in the Quran, or the Image that is spoken in Bible, or the chosen one in old testament) We all are man kinds on our path of struggle towards becoming Human. A path that does not end, nor does it stop.
