Order of RAM Slots on motherboard!!!!!

Hi there,
I have tow 512 GB and two 1 GB ram in hand. Does it really matter which slots I put them in? The slots have different colours (two are blue and two are black). Now, does the order of installing them really matter? Should I mix them (slot1: 1 GB slot2:512 GB or slot1:1 GB slot2:1 GB)?
***slot1: blue slot2: black slot3: blue slot4: black***

I suggest you follow the color guide when setting the Rams you should set the similar rams on the same color slots

1 GB : 512 : 1 GB : 512
