Kickers Editor Speaking About Karimi---he Wont Last A Whole Year In Bayern
IN KHABAR ZIYAD MOHEM NISTESH...BAD AS IN HAME BOMBAI KE TO IRAN GOZASHTAN...VALI GOFTAM BEZARAM BEKHOONI KE SHABAKEYE KICKER DAR MOREDE KARIMI CHI GOFTAN
Well, unfortunatly, what many of us said after finding out about Ali Karimi's transfer to Bayern Munich is being CONFIRMED by germans as well. what Kicker's chief editor has said in an interview with Iran-Varzeshi. The german journalist says Iran WILL NOT get past the group stages in the 2006 World Cup, but acknowledges that we have many talented players. However he uses Mahdavikia as an example, saying he is one of the best Team Melli footballers, but faces many problems in his club, Hamburg. His opinions about Ali Karimi are most disturbing: - I see a dark situation for Ali Karimi who is supposed to arrive at Bayern for the new season. - Just yesterday I made a bet that Ali Karimi won't see the winter's snow in Munich and will return to his country. - I have carefully monitored Ali Karimi and know his coach in Al-Ahli. (Note that Karimi was coached by a german, Winnie Schafaer, in his last few months in the UAE) - Karimi is more of an artist. He is a talented, but lazy player Well, these statements need no more comment. I hope from all my heart that this guy is WRONG , but my brain tells me otherwise. He has simply said what many of us have been saying all along And for those who don't know, KICKER is the MOST RESPECTED Sports publication in Germany.... |

Interesting assessment! Bottom line is that Karimi needs to step it up a notch to be noticed.... or else, the predictions will come true! His last couple of games against N. Korea and Bahrain were so-so.... and this shows, that once he was marked, he was pretty much ineffective. Again, he is a solid player and has the potential for greatness....but needs to step up to his new role and earn the respect of his teammates at BM. I wish him best of luck in becoming a world recognized player.

to be honest, I actuallu agree with him, cuz lately Karimi has been looked a bit lazy, for the national teams and the Al Ahly..
baziesh kharab shode badaz keh Asian Football Player of the year gerefte.. Its disturbing really, cuz we need him, and we all know he is talented.. but he simply doesnt look so happy with his play, like he did before. Yejurie, namidonam chie, vali az sheklesh malome, keh kheyli khoshal nist to bazia.. i dont know, maybe its just me
